Studio Policies

JOIN OUR DANCE COMMUNITY

Payment Policies

All payments are non-refundable unless the class or event is cancelled by CDA.

Registration Fee must be paid to reserve your student's spot in the class.

Tuition payments are due on or before the first of each month. (The first tuition payment is due before the student's first class.)

Your account balance will be AUTOMATICALLY charged to your account on file on the first of each month, unless it is paid in advance. (August tuition is an exception and prorated amounts will be charged 8/19/19.)

In order to drop a class and avoid being charged, notification must be provided IN WRITING to crosbydanceacademy@gmail.com BEFORE the 1st of the month.

CDA reserves the right to drop students with delinquent payments or excessive absences.

 

Fees

 

Tuition Late Fee $20 after the 5th of the month.

Returned Check/Echeck Fee $30

Recital & Costume Package (applies to all classes except Mommy & Me and Dance Team Prep)

$150/student

3 payments of $50 each due October 15, November 15, & February 15. These fees will be AUTOMATICALLY charged to your account on file.

$5 late fee applies to payments made after the 20th.

Additional costumes $75/each.

Payments for additional costumes are split between the October 15 (50%) & November 15 payment (50%).

Students wear their costume TWICE - at the recitals in December and May! All costumes include tights. Recital fees for both recitals are included in this packaged fee.

All accounts must be current for students to participate in recitals and other performances.

What's NOT included in our tuition and fees:

  • dancewear/dance shoes

  • optional items like recital flowers

  • photos

  • CDA merchandise

  • banquets & other events, etc.

 

Discounts and Deals

Refer A Friend

Receive a $20 account credit when you refer a friend who registers for classes!

(They must write your name during online registration.

Siblings of the same family do not qualify.)

Full Semester Payment

Payments made for a full semester (Aug-Dec or Jan-May) will receive a 5% discount.

Registration Fee for 2nd student!

 

$30 OFF

Registration Fee for 3rd student!

Sibling Tuition & Recital Fees

 

Siblings receive 10% off tuition & recital fees!

(Does not apply to additional costumes)

 

Absences and Make Up Classes

Make up classes are allowed depending on class enrollment and their recital progress. Please contact the office to schedule a makeup class. 

Excessive absences before recital are not permitted.

 

Trial & Drop-In Classes

CDA offers trial classes for $20. If you sign up, you get the $20 class fee credited back to your account. It’s like getting your first class free!

You can sign up for trial classes in the Parent Portal.

Drop in classes may be allowed depending on time of year, enrollment, & recital progress. Please contact us if you are interested.

 

Holidays and Calendar

The 2019-2020 CDA Season begins August 19, 2019 and ends on May 29, 2020.

Holidays:

Labor Day (make up day Fri 9/6)

Halloween (make up day Sun 10/27)

Winter Break

Spring Break

Memorial Day (make up day Fri 5/29)

Any emergency closings will be communicated by email and text message when possible.
